Let Peace Reign

“Let Peace Reign”
Mixed media painting on canvas
Size: 24 X 30 inches

We are living in times when it’s so easy to loose inner peace. Many people in this world live in the war areas and are desperately desiring peace. This painting was inspired by a human’s need for peace. It’s hard to live without it, it’s soul crushing, exhausting and hopeless…

May the Spirit of Peace enter your soul today and may it make its dwelling there.

***This is the video of the painting when I just finished it. I took it at night, so the colors are off and it’s a bit blurry but it gives you an idea of how sparkly it is since the photo doesn’t do it justice…

This was a commissioned portrait of a man’s beloved friend who passed unexpectedly. Rest in Peace, Jett.

Watercolor, 8 X 10 inches

I was a refugee!

Twenty years ago I was a refugee. I came to the US with my family to start a better life, far away from war, discrimination and hate. I’m forever grateful for that opportunity! It hurts me deeply what I’m seeing happening today. Please stand with your refugee friends!

Children portraits

Last September I worked on some small watercolor portraits (5 X 7 in) of children from an orphanage in South Sudan. Today I am sharing 5 out of 25 that I painted.

“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”
– Psalm 82:3

My Peace I Give You

“My Peace I Give You”
Mixed media triptych
Size: 10 X 24 inches (25 X 61 cm)

Inspired by the Bible verse John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Wishing you all a New Year filled with Peace and Love, and praying for the World Peace. ♥
